Huanju Group was established in April 2005 as a global-oriented social media platform. It was listed on NASDAQ in the United States on November 21, 2012 (NASDAQ: YY). Its business covers live broadcast, short video, social networking, e-commerce, education, finance and other fields, and its core products include YY, Huya Live, imo, BIGO LIVE, Likee, HAGO, etc. Among them, Huya Live was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: HUYA) on May 11, 2018, becoming the first listed company to be incubated within the group. Huanju Group acquired wholly-owned overseas video social platform BIGO at a valuation of approximately US$2.2 billion in March 2019.
